About Me

I have always been interested in the health care field. As a young girl, I would watch medical documentaries and ask for anatomy books for Christmas. Throughout high school, I took every science or health related class possible. My senior year of high school, I took an accelerated Certified Nursing Assistant course to obtain my license and get my foot in the door, and career rolling. I absolutely love working as a CNA. I'm grateful for the experience it gives me and opportunities to get to meet all sorts of people. Working has only made me more excited to continue down this path.

I currently spend my days watching, or what I like to call "learning", Greys Anatomy. I like to quiz myself on the different instruments and procedures they use on the show. Although I know it's not real, it's a good excuse to not study. When I'm not watching Greys, I also really like to play the piano, I've taken lessons for almost seven years. I'm also a huge beach fanatic. If I could live on the coast of Oregon I would in a heartbeat!

I attended Roy High School in Roy Utah, where I graduated from in May of 2017. I am currently now attending Southern Utah University and on my second semester. I am now a pre- nursing major, although I am considering switching to pre-med. In the future I want to specialize in neo-natal care. Since I have spent so much time working in geriatrics, I really think I would enjoy the exact opposite working with the young.
